This is a great Chilean restaurant. They have wonderful Chilean sea bass. Our favorite is the shrimp/rice dish. Rolls are delish along with the empanadas and dessert. Service is very friendly and they always remember you when you come back. www.pomairenyc.com

A little pricey. Have a burger, some wings or a cocktail at the bar and do some serious celebrity watching. Lots of Broadway folks. I have had some great times there. www.joeallenrestaurant.com
9TH AVENUE SALOON:

No food here, just a cool little neighborhood bar. Very gay friendly. A glass of wine is $4 bucks during Happy Hour. Joe, the bartender, serves crackers and cheese weekdays at 6pm.Great jukebox--fun crowd. www.9thavesaloon.com
2 Times Square (West 48th Street and 7th Avenue)
OK--so I admit it. We like this place. The food is pretty good for a chain; you can fill up on salad (very fresh) and breadsticks. Service is not bad and they have a decent wine list. This restaurant can get really crowded so be sure to call ahead if you plan to bring a group. Check the website for prices. www.olivegarden.com
